So many marketing teams claim to be the life blood of a business and sometimes they are and yet so many times I see that marketing teams fail companies miserably. But why you ask? Well too many know-it-alls trying to do the same old thing and running redline against the competition, which is also doing the same old thing and you have to wonder why? Well, because this is the way we always do it and this way works? Does it now? Indeed and I suppose this is why you stock is tanked and same store sales are down too?

Good going Marketing Team! Rah! Well, the fact is that most marketing teams cannot market their companies out of a paper bag. Paper or Plastic actually and I am not attacking the Industry Association, Status Quo or the Pillars of Academia individually, I am attacking all of them at once and simply saying that our marketing teams could blow them out of the water. Silly humans running marketing teams, get a life or rather get a job? I have a motto for Marketing Teams; Do Not Just Participate Dominate.

Look I only care about winning. Winning market share, increasing profits and opening the flood gates of customers who await. I want them lined up to buy my products and or services not my competitions. So, really all the talk and hoopla is bogus BS, either you are the lead dog or the view and the smell never changes. So please consider all this in 2006 if you are on a marketing team.

You ever been tricked into attending a multilevel marketing sales recruiting meeting? It starts out something like this; “I have this great new business I want to explain to you and you to be very good at it because you have all the right personal qualities.” As soon you go to meeting you find out all the great reasons why someone needs to do their own business.

They talk about Ray Crock from McDonald’s and all the great entrepreneurs of all time. They talk about your income, retirement and the fact that Social Security will not be available to you. They tell you about 95 percent of the people are either dead or broke at age 60 and that this awaits you unless you do something and take action in your life.

Of course this whole time you are thinking yes, yes, yes and then they ask you if you might be interested in the business of your own, which will prevent this from happening to you. Pretty sneaky isn’t it? Interesting considering that they haven’t even told you what the business is yet or what you will be doing or what your mission is. What a bunch of crap.

Now then, did you know that international terrorist cells use the same methods to recruit people of lower IQ. They look for weak individuals with no self-esteem who are afraid of the future and then they play upon those fears in order to recruit them. They even have sponsors and the sponsors help the new recruits by pumping them up and telling them about their part of the greater cause now.

Eventually they convince the international terrorist recruit to commit to strapping a bomb to themselves and blow themselves up. Of course only a moron would do that or someone who has no manhood. But the recruit does not even stop think that he is merely being used. There are so many similarities to how these multi-level marketing companies and international terrorist operate indeed. Consider this in 2006.

The Past, The Present And The Future, A Compulsive Gambler’s Thoughts Part 3 is a collection of poems that express what I was going through during the last ten years of my life. Gravitated pendulum for extensive days

Made me the best in many ways

Negative notions yielded positive results

Achieved serenity through electrical jolts

Thankful

Gratified

Elated to a major degree

I am ultimately the best for all to see

Bonded with eternal feelings of totality

Friendship evident, with a touch of reality

Stronger

Bolder

Convictions for all to see

Trust guaranteed

Peaceful feeling came over me.

Living Life To The Fullest

Maximize your life in every way

Run, jump, leap each new day

Challenge the existence with each new situation

Blend all of your experience

With each new situation

Know that life’s rich savory earthy desire

Is for each of us to admire

Doing what you like, will enable you to enjoy

Life’s precious moments, remember your first toy

Look back and look ahead

Utilize past experience and remember what you said
